Legacy Letter September 2019

27 March 2018 – Dear Brethren and Fellow Laborers, Leon and I have discussed Jerusalem since his hospitalization. It was very much on his mind after coming out of ICU, and it has become a major topic of our conversations together ever since. Now, the United States, amidst much controversy, is to move it’s embassy to this historically significant city. Our in-depth Bible studies have shown us Jerusalem throughout its past, present, and future. Let’s look at this great city that three of the world’s major religions claim as their own. Jerusalem! Where do we begin with this “city of God”? Where does it, or when did it, all begin?

OCTOBER-NOVEMBER 2019 – DearBrethren and Fellow Laborers, We have all been REFRESHED and have REJOICED at the commanded Feast of the Lord! We really didn’t want to see the Feast end! Gloria for one, did not want to come home. We had special western guests (David Bensinger from Idaho; Paul Adcock who is presently teaching English to 400 students in Korea; and Paul and Rie Sternberg who live in Bangkok); andall of us here in Burmawereso thankful for their serving hearts in this far away country with very strange sounding names to us westerners. We are all back in our homes, and truly look forward to next year, AND,forever look forward to the plan that God has for us and all mankind!…

Dear Beloved FAITHFUL Brethren and FAITHFUL Fellow Laborers,

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR HIS LOVE, MERCIES, and KINDNESSES TOWARD ALL OF US!

Why do we start our letter to all of you in this way? Because Leon and I have not written to you for over six months; and yet you have continued to be blessed by God to remain constant in your prayers, service, and sacrifices for the work of God in the areas He has given us to serve.

I don’t have to wonder what God thinks. Now lest I be accused of “hate speech,” let me just say up front: that God does not hate gays, lesbians, transgenders, or bisexuals. He does not hate anyone that goes against the natural order He created in the Garden of Eden. He loves all mankind and wants all to live forever in love and peace in His Kingdom. What He hates is sin…
