Legacy Letter June 2017

10 June 2017 – Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, What a wonderful Pentecost we had in Taungoo, Myanmar! It was a very special holy day. What made it so special? Besides being a wonderful God-ordained high Sabbath day, it really felt as if the Holy Spirit was being poured out upon the 49 people gathered there. No, there were no little flames of fire appearing on our heads. And, no, we did not erupt into different languages other than the English sermon being translated into the Burmese language. But nevertheless, it was a very spiritual experience.

Legacy Letter August 2017

23 August 2017 – Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, The first thing I want to do in this letter is address our name change to “Legacy Teaching Institute”. Several years ago, totally unknown to us, a form was not filed properly with the Secretary of State of Texas. This started a bureaucratic chain reaction that caused the removal of our name from the rolls of active Texas non-profit corporations…

Legacy Letter February 2014

IN THIS LETTER: Correction ● Legacy Foundation Graduation ● Trip to the Border ● Passover in Burma – Dear Friends and Fellow laborers, CORRECTION – The first thing I want to do in this letter is apologize for getting some dates incorrect in my January letter. It is unforgivable since these dates were for annual Holy Sabbaths. In my January letter, I talked about the predicted Blood Moon eclipses on the Passover and Holy Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, both this year (2014) and in 2015. Also predicted are two solar eclipses in 2015. The first is on Nisan 1, the beginning of the Hebrew sacred year; and the second solar eclipse takes place on the Feast of Trumpets.

Legacy Letter December 2015

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, At Legacy Foundation Leadership Training Center here in Chiang Mai, we just completed a very special project. Four young ladies were sent by the Royal Palace to participate in an intensive English training program for six weeks. All four work at Queen Sirikit’s SUPPORT Foundation museum displaying the “Arts of the Kingdom.” This museum is housed in the royal Ananta Samakom Throne Hall, part of the royal complex in Bangkok. They have already graduated with degrees from Kasetsart University in Bangkok and have had some English training. The intensive English language curriculum was designed by our volunteer teacher Julia Stewart, who also taught the classes. Julia herself took part in an intensive crash course and received a TESOL (teach English to speakers of other languages) certificate from Cornerstone University. The young ladies not only had classroom instruction, but participated in real life experience as well by going out into the public and practicing English with Western tourists. They also took part in other classes taught at Legacy (Advanced English, Public Speaking, Sports, and even Sabbath services). The aim was to boost their conversational skills as well as their confidence.
