Legacy Letter March 2017

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers,
Two weeks ago Gloria and I traveled to a small village in the mountains near the border with Burma (now called Myanmar).  We went to pick up six refugees who are also Church of God members.  They have been living in the refugee camp for four years.

10 November 2016 – Hello Friends and Fellow-Laborers, Let me first let you know that the Kingdom of Thailand continues to mourn its beloved King Bhumibol Adulyadej. All wear black in mourning or, if not dressed in black, wear a black ribbon on their clothing. Even foreign tourists and visitors are wearing black ribbons. 10 June 2017 – Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, What a wonderful Pentecost we had in Taungoo, Myanmar! It was a very special holy day. What made it so special? Besides being a wonderful God-ordained high Sabbath day, it really felt as if the Holy Spirit was being poured out upon the 49 people gathered there. No, there were no little flames of fire appearing on our heads. And, no, we did not erupt into different languages other than the English sermon being translated into the Burmese language. But nevertheless, it was a very spiritual experience.
