Prayer Request for Gerda Bludau

Dear Brethren and Friends,

Please pray for my 98-year old aunt, Gerda Bludau (Gaggi). She took a bad fall right in front of our gate one week ago Friday the 27th, at 6:pm. At the hospital, she needed 2 stitches on her head and has scrapes and bruises. CT Scan and X-Rays miraculously showed no breaks or internal bleeding. Leon anointed her immediately after the fall. She does not remember falling down, even now a week later. She is in pain and is still pretty sore all over.

I had taken her to the doctor the evening before to see why her legs were so swollen, which they still are over a week later today the 6th of March. She is still walking, but not so long and not at her same previous pace. Her memory is fading very quickly. Her dreams/nightmares are very terrible—which has been an ongoing problem for years. To top all this off, I had to take her to the hospital again, because she had not gone to the bathroom for 6 days. Please pray God intervenes quickly so that we all can partake of the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread in both Thailand and Burma. God knows all details and all of our needs, even before we ask—and we need help so very much now.

Yesterday, Leon, Gaggi, and I looked at a small facility where she would be able to stay for the time we are gone. It seems quite nice and the personnel are very knowledgeable, kind, and also speak English well. She did not seem to mind when I told her that we are looking into this for our time away—and that I would come back for her upon our return. Please pray that this too will go very well for her. Our son Bronson and his family of 4 children will be able to visit her as they live very near.

God be with all of you. We pray for all of you.

In love,
Gloria
