Legacy Letter March 2021

Dear Beloved Brethren and Fellow Laborers, 8 April 2021 – This legacy letter is long overdue! We are now past the days of Unleavened Bread! Thanks be to God for all His blessings! All our brethren were able to keep the Passover and Unleavened Bread, despite all the horrors that are escalating by the military coup. In Jawk Taing, pastor SengAung told Leon and me on the phone that 17 were gathered and that only one could not be there, but will at the 2nd Passover in a month. A few in other areas kept it at home with the ceremony notes given in advance. Our church compound seems to be the most peaceful at this time. We pray that this blessing will continue.

Legacy Letter October 2021

Dear Beloved Brethren and Fellow Laborers, 12 October 2021 – TO GOD BE THE GLORY! The FEAST! What a wonderful Feast it was! That eighth day, that Last Great Day of the Feast, was especially GREAT! We here in Chiang Mai, Thailand, were able to Zoom with all of our Burma congregations from the north in NaMawn and Myiatkyina in Kachinland, and to the South in Yangon…

Hosea 8:7 For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. Dear Friends and Fellow laborers, The Fall Holy Days are upon us! In a few days we will observe the Feast of Trumpets which symbolically heralds the advent of the Messiah’s return to this earth. It is a time of great turmoil and war that the Bible calls the day of the Lord.

Legacy Letter January 2018

25 January 2018 – Dear Brethren and Fellow Laborers, Over the winter break,SengAung, our pastor in Jawk Taing, Myanmar, and his family went to NaMawn in Kachinland. HtooGay, a Legacy grad (who is also finishing up his last year in high school), went along. There we have a small group of brethren of which some are also family to SengAung. It’s quite a long trip. Here is what Seng Pan wrote to me: “Thaungoo to Mandalay 8 hours, Mandalay to Kachin state Hopin town (18 hours by train), Hopin to NaMawn 1 hour by motorcycles. It takes two nights and two days long. We can go by bus too, more quick one and half day long but, more expensive.”
