22 July 2017 – Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, FOURTH OF JULY IN THAILAND – Thailand does not have an independence day, since the kingdom of Thailand never broke away from anyone. But my family and I are Americans living in Thailand, so we decided to have a small celebration of July Fourth. I broke out my father’s memorial flag that was given to my mother at my father’s funeral, which included a 21-gun salute by the local VFW. We recently returned from a whirlwind tour of the U.S. Gloria and I were in Arizona, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and California. I have yet to catch my breath.
