Legacy Letter April 2017

16 April 2017 – Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, This year Legacy helped sponsor three Passover ceremonies in Thailand and Myanmar (Burma). Two took place in Myanmar and one in Thailand. It has been our usual practice to travel to Myanmar for the Spring Festivals; but this year, Gloria and I needed to stay in Thailand to take care of our local Chiang Mai brethren.

Legacy Letter January 2018

25 January 2018 – Dear Brethren and Fellow Laborers, Over the winter break,SengAung, our pastor in Jawk Taing, Myanmar, and his family went to NaMawn in Kachinland. HtooGay, a Legacy grad (who is also finishing up his last year in high school), went along. There we have a small group of brethren of which some are also family to SengAung. It’s quite a long trip. Here is what Seng Pan wrote to me: “Thaungoo to Mandalay 8 hours, Mandalay to Kachin state Hopin town (18 hours by train), Hopin to NaMawn 1 hour by motorcycles. It takes two nights and two days long. We can go by bus too, more quick one and half day long but, more expensive.”

Legacy Letter February 2012

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers,
I am going to talk to you in this letter about a NEW WORLD ORDER.  There is a very powerful world movement towards a system of world government that has centralized power, is socialist and humanist in nature, enacts worldwide uniform and universal laws, and will have a new system of world trade with a new world currency.  Of course, individual nations will have to give up their sovereignty to this immerging new world order, or they will not be permitted to benefit from its control of world trade. Now before you begin to think I have gone off on a conspiracy theory trail to fanaticism, just let me say that the Bible talks a great deal about this New World Order—and it turns out to be not so “new” after all!

Legacy Letter October 2015

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, – The Feast of Tabernacles is over and it is back to the grind for all of us. God gives us a very small taste of the future and it remains only a shadow of what is to come. Three times a year God tells us to gather together before Him. The spring convocations remind us that Jesus Christ died for us so we do not have to die. His sacrifice opens the door for all mankind to obtain eternal life…
