I don’t have to wonder what God thinks. Now lest I be accused of “hate speech,” let me just say up front: that God does not hate gays, lesbians, transgenders, or bisexuals. He does not hate anyone that goes against the natural order He created in the Garden of Eden. He loves all mankind and wants all to live forever in love and peace in His Kingdom. What He hates is sin...
Legacy Letters
Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, We recently returned from a whirlwind tour of the U.S. Gloria and I were in Arizona, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and California. I have yet to catch my breath. I am getting older and trips like these are getting tougher. Thankfully, I have Gloria to help me, and so many of you were very kind in trying to help make the trip more comfortable. Gloria and I attended the wedding and university graduation of our grandson,..

Dear Friends and Fellow, Laborers, Gloria and I are back from our annual Spring Holy Day trip to Myanmar (formerly called Burma). This trip we had Lacee Hilgen come along with us. Lacee is a volunteer teacher at Legacy Foundation Leadership Training Center in Chiang Mai, and she was just finishing up her service. She decided that, instead of going straight home to California, she would go with us to visit the brethren in Myanmar. At present, almost all of our students are from Myanmar; sothis gave her the additional pleasure of meeting family members of some of her students...
Dear Friends and Fellow laborers, Graduation at Legacy is always a hectic—but fun—time. Our volunteer teachers and students must finish up their classes, take finals, and practice speeches, and chorale for the graduation ceremony. This year we had FIVE graduates: Hser Nay Htoo, Hser Nay Paw, Hser Nay Say, Moe Palel, and Nay Blu Htoo. In attendance were students’ family and friends, and other guests.
Dear Friends and Fellow laborers, I just received the news that the Thailand Embassy in Rangoon1 will not issue our graduating student, Moe Palel, a new ED (Educational) Visa. This means he cannot yet return to Thailand. It appears he will miss his graduation ceremony we are holding on February 6th...
Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, Friday, December 5th, was the 87th birth anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, King of Thailand. In Thailand, December 5th is also celebrated as national Father’s Day. King Bhumibol has the distinction of being the longest reigning monarch in the world today, having ascended the throne on June 9, 1946. Queen Elizabeth II of England is the second longest reigning monarch.
Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, The following is from the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights: 'Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. . .' The purpose of what is known as the Establishment Clause was to prevent government from establishing a state religion and to prevent the government from interfering with a citizen’s religious beliefs. Nowhere does it say that religion must be taken out of government. The purpose of the clause was not to take religion out of government, but to keep government out of religion.
30 October 2014 - Dear Friends and Fellow laborers, I wrote a letter several months ago about the blood moons that are to appear on Passover and the high day of the Feast of Tabernacles in both 2014 and 2015. According to Jewish belief, a tetrad like this portends that something very significant will happen to Israel, such as war. It happened during the founding of the State of Israel and the 1967 War...
Hosea 8:7 For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. Dear Friends and Fellow laborers, The Fall Holy Days are upon us! In a few days we will observe the Feast of Trumpets which symbolically heralds the advent of the Messiah’s return to this earth. It is a time of great turmoil and war that the Bible calls the day of the Lord.
20 August 2014, EXODUS 17:14-16 - And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi 1: For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. - Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, Who is Amalek and why does God swear that He will have war with Amelek in every generation?
Here Comes the King of the South, The Rise of the Islamic Caliphate - Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, The prophecy of Daniel 11 talks about an ongoing fight between a “King of the North” and a “King of the South.” At the time of the end, this rivalry will lead to the King of the North coming south with an army to make war against the King of the South. It is the Holy Land and the city of Jerusalem that is in the middle between both antagonists. It is important to keep in mind that it is Jerusalem that becomes the capital of the world-ruling Jesus the Messiah...
