16 June 2016, Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, Baal worship is coming back to modern day Israel. In ancient Israel, Baal was a replacement for Yahweh, the true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It wasn’t that Yahweh disappeared from the culture of Israel; it was that Baal was worshiped as provider and sustainer instead of Yahweh. Baal was considered more powerful and became the supreme deity of the Canaanites and ultimately, Israel. Some ancient texts show that Baal wanted to overcome the Creator El and become king of the gods. Sound familiar?

Hello Friends and Fellow-Laborers, -PASSOVER AND UNLEAVENED BREAD- It is that time of year again with Passover just around the corner. It seems to my family here in Thailand that we have been under constant attack by Satan. We have all had bouts with the flu—and not just any flu, but a particularly bad strain that seems to stay with you for a long time. One after the other (each of our grandchildren, our son, his wife, Utaiwan Han, Gloria, and me), we have fallen ill with fever, coughing, and sinus infections. I came down with pneumonia and was in the hospital for five days. I am back home now and trying to regain my strength, so I have no problems when we go to Myanmar (Burma) for the spring holy days...

This year we graduated five young men who successfully completed three years at Legacy International Leadership Training Center. After the invocation, I spoke about the goals of another leadership training school known as West Point. The main purpose of West Point is not just to study the art of war. Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, Organic gardening has been an integral part of the Legacy school curriculum since its beginning in May, 2002, fourteen years ago. Students not only learn Bible, computer, English, health, and other academic subjects, they must participate in growing vegetables and grain crops to help feed students and teachers at Legacy. The picture above shows Ian Stewart tilling the soil in preparation for sowing corn and beans. Why would we emphasize growing vegetables here at Legacy? The answer is simple...

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, At Legacy Foundation Leadership Training Center here in Chiang Mai, we just completed a very special project. Four young ladies were sent by the Royal Palace to participate in an intensive English training program for six weeks. All four work at Queen Sirikit’s SUPPORT Foundation museum displaying the “Arts of the Kingdom.” This museum is housed in the royal Ananta Samakom Throne Hall, part of the royal complex in Bangkok. They have already graduated with degrees from Kasetsart University in Bangkok and have had some English training. The intensive English language curriculum was designed by our volunteer teacher Julia Stewart, who also taught the classes. Julia herself took part in an intensive crash course and received a TESOL (teach English to speakers of other languages) certificate from Cornerstone University. The young ladies not only had classroom instruction, but participated in real life experience as well by going out into the public and practicing English with Western tourists. They also took part in other classes taught at Legacy (Advanced English, Public Speaking, Sports, and even Sabbath services). The aim was to boost their conversational skills as well as their confidence.

9 November 2015 -Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, While those who understand the annual holy days (the commanded assemblies of God) were keeping the Feast of Tabernacles, which pictures the 1000-year millennial rule of Jesus Christ on earth from His capital in Jerusalem (Isaiah 11:1-9, Revelation 20:1-4, Isaiah 9:6, Daniel 2:44-45), the best—some would say “worst”—attempt at this world’s solution for peace among nations was very busy forming their own counterfeit of that kingdom. This counterfeit kingdom of what the Bible calls the “Beast” was rapidly being set in motion without much media coverage. Other than the Pope’s speech calling for peace, the media said little.

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, - The Feast of Tabernacles is over and it is back to the grind for all of us. God gives us a very small taste of the future and it remains only a shadow of what is to come. Three times a year God tells us to gather together before Him. The spring convocations remind us that Jesus Christ died for us so we do not have to die. His sacrifice opens the door for all mankind to obtain eternal life...

16 August 2015 - The headline reads: The President Of France Wants Eurozone Members To Transfer Their Sovereignty To A United States Of Europe. - Continuing in the body of the text: On Sunday, a piece authored by French President Francois Hollande suggested that the ultimate solution to the problems currently plaguing Europe would be for every member of the eurozone to transfer all of their sovereignty to a newly created federal government. In other words, it would essentially be a “United States of Europe”.
