Legacy Letter December 2015

27 March 2018 – Dear Brethren and Fellow Laborers, Leon and I have discussed Jerusalem since his hospitalization. It was very much on his mind after coming out of ICU, and it has become a major topic of our conversations together ever since. Now, the United States, amidst much controversy, is to move it’s embassy to this historically significant city. Our in-depth Bible studies have shown us Jerusalem throughout its past, present, and future. Let’s look at this great city that three of the world’s major religions claim as their own. Jerusalem! Where do we begin with this “city of God”? Where does it, or when did it, all begin?

Two weeks ago Gloria and I traveled to a small village in the mountains near the border with Burma (now called Myanmar).  We went to pick up six refugees who are also Church of God members.  They have been living in the refugee camp for four years.

THE WORK OF GOD—THE MOST IMPORTANT! – There is nothing more important than the Work of God—nothing! We all have been called to do the same Work Jesus began over 2000 years ago. I often wonder WHY I was called. Why not someone else with a lot more talent and ability?
