China’s currency has now been included into the basket of currencies that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) uses to back up its Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), which is actually a new World Currency. This is a huge triumph for China. This move puts the Chinese Yuan on the same par as the U.S. Dollar, the English Pound, the Japanese Yen and the E.U. Euro. This makes China a major player in the world’s financial arena...

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, At Legacy Foundation Leadership Training Center here in Chiang Mai, we just completed a very special project. Four young ladies were sent by the Royal Palace to participate in an intensive English training program for six weeks. All four work at Queen Sirikit’s SUPPORT Foundation museum displaying the “Arts of the Kingdom.” This museum is housed in the royal Ananta Samakom Throne Hall, part of the royal complex in Bangkok. They have already graduated with degrees from Kasetsart University in Bangkok and have had some English training. The intensive English language curriculum was designed by our volunteer teacher Julia Stewart, who also taught the classes. Julia herself took part in an intensive crash course and received a TESOL (teach English to speakers of other languages) certificate from Cornerstone University. The young ladies not only had classroom instruction, but participated in real life experience as well by going out into the public and practicing English with Western tourists. They also took part in other classes taught at Legacy (Advanced English, Public Speaking, Sports, and even Sabbath services). The aim was to boost their conversational skills as well as their confidence.
Dear Friends and Fellow laborers, Satan never sleeps. We are under constant attack and meet roadblocks thrown in our way. Fellow laborers generously donated to get Kawn Yee and Toomya Shwe to attend a Thai language school in Chiang Mai so they could acquire an ED education visa from the Thai government. Then they could come to Thailand, study Thai, and attend classes at Legacy too.
9 November 2015 -Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, While those who understand the annual holy days (the commanded assemblies of God) were keeping the Feast of Tabernacles, which pictures the 1000-year millennial rule of Jesus Christ on earth from His capital in Jerusalem (Isaiah 11:1-9, Revelation 20:1-4, Isaiah 9:6, Daniel 2:44-45), the best—some would say “worst”—attempt at this world’s solution for peace among nations was very busy forming their own counterfeit of that kingdom. This counterfeit kingdom of what the Bible calls the “Beast” was rapidly being set in motion without much media coverage. Other than the Pope’s speech calling for peace, the media said little.
The death toll is over 120, mostly innocent concert-goers, including dead Americans. Some of the terrorists behind the bloody and cowardly attacks have been caught. Others are still loose and they are armed. These atrocities were done by ISIS, the Islamic Caliphate which is at war with Western civilization. French President Francois Hollande has declared a state of emergency and closed the borders. It appears the terrorists came into France among the thousands of refugees fleeing Syria. They were armed and financed by ISIS which has terror cells across Europe and even in the USA!
This is a prayer request for Stelyn Shwe. He is the Legacy student who contracted dengue fever and was hospitalized. He was released and came back home, but was just not getting his strength back. He then began to complain about being very cold and needed several jackets to stay warm. It was discovered that he had a low grade fever and so Gloria took him back to the hospital to get a check up. He was admitted today and the doctors are running several tests to find out the cause of his continued weakness and the low grade fever.
Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, - The Feast of Tabernacles is over and it is back to the grind for all of us. God gives us a very small taste of the future and it remains only a shadow of what is to come. Three times a year God tells us to gather together before Him. The spring convocations remind us that Jesus Christ died for us so we do not have to die. His sacrifice opens the door for all mankind to obtain eternal life...
The laws have changed again! It seems to me like they keep changing the laws every month or so. In order for us to bring students from Myanmar (Burma) to Legacy in Thailand, we must have them attend a Thai language school. In order to attend a Thai language school, they must acquire an Education Visa (ED visa). In order to acquire an ED visa, we must pay a local language school a yearly fee for them to attend on Sundays. They can then attend Legacy school on weekdays.
One of our Legacy students, Stelyn Shwe, came down with Dengue Fever and had to be admitted to the hospital. I just visited with him this morning and anointed him according to God’s instructions in James 5. He is feeling better and hopes he can leave the hospital soon. Dengue is dangerous because it can turn into Hemorrhagic Fever which is very dangerous. It seems we got him to the hospital in time...
40 COG members (including children) gathered at Kyawk Taing, Myanmar for the Feast of Tabernacles with much worship; singing songs to God; and lots and lots of feasting. Seng Aung, our Student Pastor in Kyawk Taing; his wife Seng Pan; Legacy student Htoo Mya Shwe; and our Deacon in Rangoon, U Myo Zaw and his wife Tumar, are there to lead services and festivities throughout the 8 day Feast. Some COG members from other parts of Myanmar were able to attend...
Dear Fellow laborers, Here is the latest from Seng Pan, wife of our Pastor Trainee in Kyawk Taing, Myanmar. She was in the hospital for four days with a very high fever and low red blood count. She just wrote us and email...
