I guess I was in Texas too long. It just didn’t feel right over here in Thailand at Legacy without some cows. So, guess what? We got us some cows!
The plan is to raise cows for food and manure. We started with two cows and 2 calves. These are called “Wua Lampoon” or Lampoon Cows. Lampoon is a province just south of Chiang Mai. These cows are native to Southeast Asia and are red in color. Nice looking cows, don’t you think?

Legacy Institute (we are known as Legacy Foundation in Thailand) held our 7th graduation commencement exercise on January 12 at the Empress Hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We had five graduates; Seng Aung, June Seng Pan, Kart Ta Yin, Atsadakon and Bancha. Seng Aung and June Seng Pan are a married couple from Kachinland. Atsadakon is a Lahu from Thailand and Kart Ta Yin and Bancha are from the Karen tribe in Thailand.
The death toll is over 120, mostly innocent concert-goers, including dead Americans. Some of the terrorists behind the bloody and cowardly attacks have been caught. Others are still loose and they are armed. These atrocities were done by ISIS, the Islamic Caliphate which is at war with Western civilization. French President Francois Hollande has declared a state of emergency and closed the borders. It appears the terrorists came into France among the thousands of refugees fleeing Syria. They were armed and financed by ISIS which has terror cells across Europe and even in the USA!
