27 March 2018 – Dear Brethren and Fellow Laborers, Leon and I have discussed Jerusalem since his hospitalization. It was very much on his mind after coming out of ICU, and it has become a major topic of our conversations together ever since. Now, the United States, amidst much controversy, is to move it’s embassy to this historically significant city. Our in-depth Bible studies have shown us Jerusalem throughout its past, present, and future. Let’s look at this great city that three of the world’s major religions claim as their own. Jerusalem! Dear Friends and Fellow, Laborers, Gloria and I are back from our annual Spring Holy Day trip to Myanmar (formerly called Burma). This trip we had Lacee Hilgen come along with us. Lacee is a volunteer teacher at Legacy Foundation
Leadership Training Center in Chiang Mai, and she was just finishing up her service. At present, almost all of our students are from Myanmar; sothis gave her the additional pleasure of meeting family members of some of her students…

It is a time of great turmoil and war that the Bible calls the day of the Lord.

It seems to my family here in Thailand that we have been under constant attack by Satan. We have all had bouts with the flu—and not just any flu, but a particularly bad strain that seems to stay with you for a long time. One after the other (each of our grandchildren, our son, his wife, Utaiwan Han, Gloria, and me), we have fallen ill with fever, coughing, and sinus infections. I came down with pneumonia and was in the hospital for five days. I am back home now and trying to regain my strength, so I have no problems when we go to Myanmar (Burma) for the spring holy days…
