Leon and I are writing to you urgently because everyone in the village of Jawk Taing, where the church compound is, has been asked to leave. The Burmese army has been in Taungoo, 30 minutes away, for about 3 weeks. They were already bombing, so that a few brethren were not able to come last Sabbath.
We just learned that our church compound DOES NOT need to flee. However, just 5 minutes away by motorcycle, the SDA school and SDA church had to flee. They truly have nowhere to go except to run into the jungle. This has been happening all over Burma for over 75 years.
Please send out heartfelt prayers to the Almighty! Praying for God’s Heavenly Host to protect HIS sheep and the people nearby. May the ARMY FLEE in the FEAR of the Almighty and never come back! May God’s people SEE THE HAND OF GOD IN JESUS’ NAME!!!
