Legacy Letter February 2016

Hello Friends and Fellow-Laborers, -PASSOVER AND UNLEAVENED BREAD- It is that time of year again with Passover just around the corner. It seems to my family here in Thailand that we have been under constant attack by Satan. We have all had bouts with the flu—and not just any flu, but a particularly bad strain that seems to stay with you for a long time. One after the other (each of our grandchildren, our son, his wife, Utaiwan Han, Gloria, and me), we have fallen ill with fever, coughing, and sinus infections. I came down with pneumonia and was in the hospital for five days. I am back home now and trying to regain my strength, so I have no problems when we go to Myanmar (Burma) for the spring holy days…

Dear Friends and Fellow laborers, Graduation at Legacy is always a hectic—but fun—time. Our volunteer teachers and students must finish up their classes, take finals, and practice speeches, and chorale for the graduation ceremony. This year we had FIVE graduates: Hser Nay Htoo, Hser Nay Paw, Hser Nay Say, Moe Palel, and Nay Blu Htoo. In attendance were students’ family and friends, and other guests.

Has America Reached Its Tipping Point? The entire areas of Bab edh-Drha and Numeira are covered with a spongy ash. These two cities show clear signs of utter destruction. Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, The waiting is over. Barak Obama will continue to be President of the United States for another four years.

Dear Brethren and Fellow Laborers, First of all Leon and I want to thank all of you for your continued support, not only in your generous donations, but your heartfelt prayers. We are deeply moved—and sometimes with grateful tears. We read your precious notes and emails and are encouraged and comforted. God continues to supply all needs as HE has promised…
