2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear Brethren and Fellow Laborers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is an exciting update with a NEW project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sein Paw Htoo who we call Dah meaning little sister in Karen\u2019 language, owns land 3-4 minutes walking distance away from the church compound.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently Dah lives in Thailand and takes care of my mother Ruth Jebens.\u00a0 We are so blessed to have Dah!\u00a0 She has certificates in Nurses Aid and Pharmaceutical Aid including Nurses aid work experience before coming to Thailand.\u00a0 She is also only six units away from graduating from SDA University but must wait due to the military craziness in Burma at this time.\u00a0 \u00a0 Dah has had her land cleared by faithful workers for this special project. ***A PLAYGROUND!*** \u00a0 This will be for the church youth and students taught by our teachers Seng Pan and Sal Nay Paw and those children from the nearby community.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure with baby Esther on Sabbath in January.  <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>As of now they have a net for volleyball and TaKraw (an Asian game) and can play kickball on the field.\u00a0 The kids are besides themselves to have this place to play!\u00a0 The plan is to make a swing set and add a slide too.\u00a0 The kids love to play and run no matter whether it is hot or cold.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/legacyinstitute.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/2026_02_16_Myanmar_Playground_pic03.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"106\" height=\"106\" src=\"https:\/\/legacyinstitute.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/2026_02_16_Myanmar_Playground_pic03.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3795\" style=\"width:156px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">TaKraw Ball<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>My mother Ruth Jebens is helping to donate to this project and\u00a0 in particular the swing set.\u00a0 Pan Naung and his wife Sal Nay Paw will be overseers for this sports field.\u00a0 The playground will be done slowly and step by step.\u00a0 This will also help bring the community together.\u00a0 Children are already excited and coming from nearby in the village of Jawk Taing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>May God bless and keep the children safe and healthy on this special playground!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please pray for my precious mom who is 100 and 7 months.\u00a0 She has slowed and weakened so very much in the last 3 weeks.\u00a0 She says she is ready to sleep and is eating and drinking so little and barely walks anymore.\u00a0 She is not afraid and waits on God for HIS WILL.\u00a0 She has no pain and knows who is around her and keeps saying her thank yous and goodbyes each and every time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We all keep praying for each other to keep in <strong>UNITY<\/strong> and to remove the devil everywhere he tries his evil tactics!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ephesians 6:10-12<\/strong> <em>Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.&nbsp; <\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The water that Jesus promised the Samaritan woman \u201cwill become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life (NIV) or in the NKJ, will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.\u201d. Then we will never be thirsty again!&nbsp; (John 4:13-14)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>John 7:37-39<\/strong> On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, \u201cIf anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. 38 Who-ever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, \u2018<strong>Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.\u2019<\/strong>\u201d 39 Now this <strong>he said about the Spirit<\/strong>, whom those who <strong>believed<\/strong> in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jesus our Savior is now glorified! <\/strong>&nbsp;And, if God <strong>called <\/strong>us, and we <strong>repented<\/strong>\u2014<strong>to OBEY <\/strong>to walk a <strong>new way<\/strong> of life, and were <strong>baptized<\/strong> and had <strong>hands laid on us<\/strong>\u2014we received that <strong>Holy Spirit<\/strong> to become in us a \u201cfountain of water\u201d; and \u201cout of our heart will flow rivers of living water!&nbsp; Just think of this great power God has given us that bears the fruits of God\u2019s Holy Spirit!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Christ to Everlasting Life,\u00a0<br>Leon and Gloria\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>16 February 2026 Dear Brethren and Fellow Laborers, Here is an exciting update with a NEW project!
